College Cooking: Miso Soup

Six Flags Darien Lake, 2021. Used on an article about Miso Soup.


Serves 3

  • 7.5 cups water
  • 6.5 tablespoon miso paste 
  • 14 ounce of package silken tofu, diced
  • 3 ½ green onions, sliced diagonally into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 ⅔ cups fresh spinach, washed and chopped
  • How ever much salt you want
    • Note: this recipe has a ton of sodium naturally


  • 7.5 cups of water to a large pot on medium heat
  • Add tofu and cover pot
  • Cook for 2 minutes
  • Add spinach and green onion, and sir in the miso paste
  • Cook for 3 minutes
