Class of 2025
Rochester Institute of Technology. Three degrees, summa cum laude, and a lot of shenanigans.
Degrees
- Master of Business Administration
- Bachelor of Science in Computing Security, minor in Free and Open Source Software and Free Culture
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, minor in Business Administration
RIT’s two computing majors barely overlap, so the double bachelor’s is an 8.5-year program. I finished it in 4.5 through course overloads and classes over breaks. I also spent a semester abroad in Zagreb, Croatia.
Honors
- Outstanding Undergraduate Scholar Award, RIT’s highest academic distinction, given to the top 1% of students
- Graduated summa cum laude
- RIT Honors Program (top 3% of incoming freshmen)
- Dean’s List every semester (transcripts)
- Barry Goldwater Scholarship nominee, twice
- Nathaniel Rochester Society Scholarship, one student a year
- U.S. Silver Congressional Award
